Deanna Beaujot first felt the magically creative process of rendering when posing for a portrait at age 6. It awoke her visual direction towards observation.
She attended The National Academy of Fine Arts in Argentina. Years later she took a class from distinguished International artist and mentor Jean Pederson, and resolved the focus: Portraiture.
Occasional classes at Alberta College of Art, kept the artist within her engaged until she was able to pursue daily practice.
Presently, being fully immersed in studio time and exhibiting marks an exciting and fulfilling time in her life. Her paintings capture interactions between people and their expressions. Florals are treated like portraits, engaging the viewer.
Deanna Beaujot has been awarded Elected status from the Toronto Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour CSPWC and AFCA Vancouver Federation of Canadian Artists stature.
